The first examples of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class are expected in New Zealand before the end of the year. There will be more models later, including a long-wheelbase and an extra-long-wheelbase.
The extra-long model is expected to be available only for the Chinese market. To avoid any confusion, it isn’t the Pullman, the luxo-limousine due to break cover in Europe next year.
The extra-long S-Class – seen here testing at the Nurburgring in Germany – will sit between the long-wheelbase and the Pullman. Another S-Class variant is the Coupe, the two-door that replaces the CL-Class.
Pictured under camouflage on the Nurburgring circuit is the AMG version.
