Porsche is working towards turbocharging all its engines, says European spy agency Automedia. Nothing official from Porsche but Automedia photographers say the facelifted 911 (due next year) in the first video above is running a booster. No, it’s not the all-wheel-drive 911 Turbo, they say, just a standard rear-drive 911. The still picture (left) is the 911 Turbo, wearing light camouflage front and rear to hide reshaped air intakes and larger tail-lights. The second video below is of the rear-drive GT2. It borrows the 911 Turbo’s 420kW twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre flat-six. A Renne Sport variant under development will deliver 465W, says Automedia.
