The big Porsche Panamera sedan/hatchback was never a thing of beauty.
The Panamera station wagon/shooting brake pictured here adds very little, although some critics are saying there is some elegance about the boxy rear end.
Whatever, the so-called Porsche Sport Turismo has been spied testing on the Nurburgring circuit.
It shares much with the next-generation Panamera, which is expected to be unveiled at the Paris motor show this September with updated V6 and V8 engines, along with the new plug-in version.
Who knows what the production Turismo will be called, but the name itself comes from a concept unveiled at the 2012 Paris motor show.
European reports say the Panamera wagon will be shown at the Frankfurt show in 2017 before going into production in 2018. There are also reports of a Panamera coupe appearing around 2020.
