American clothing czar Ralph Lauren walked away with nearly everything there was to win at this year’s Concorso d’Elegance Villa d’Este at Italy’s Lake Como. Lauren’s $NZ50 million Bugatti 57SC Atlantic picked up all the best in show gongs, including a prize for the most exciting design. The French-built Atlantic was entered in Class B. The eight other class winners were: Class A: 1928 Mercedes-Benz 680S torpedo roadster. Class C: 1964 Ferrari 500 Superfast Berlinetta. Class D: 1962 Aston Martin DB4 SS saloon. Class E: 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta. Class F: 1956 Jaguar XKSS spider. Class G: 1964 Ferrari 250 LM Berlinetta. Class H: 1965 Lamborghini 350 GTS spider. Class I: 1965 Ferrari Dino 166P/206P spider.
