These are the first shots of what’s to become the facelift for the Volkswagen Touareg, scheduled for a launch in autumn 2014. The focus will be put onto new driver assistance systems and updated infotainment devices. However, there will also be some sort of cosmetic changes. Rumours also suggest that the 3-litre V6 TDI will develop 260 hp instead of today’s 245, and the smaller V6 TDI with 204 hp could be replaced by a four-cylinder – output yet unknown.
